The Project

JCB hosted a major global launch event in India to reveal a new flagship product to partners, dealers and international media. The multi-day showcase brought together audiences from around the world for demonstrations, talks and large-scale presentations designed to highlight the innovation and ambition behind JCB’s latest engineering milestone. Lightbox Film Co. was brought in to document the full experience, capturing the scale, energy and significance of the launch as it unfolded across five days of continuous activity.

Creative Solution

A 3-person core team from Lightbox travelled to India to lead production, supported by a locally hired crew to reduce both cost and carbon footprint. Working across multiple locations, the team provided full event coverage – from keynote sessions and live demonstrations to behind-the-scenes moments and first impressions.

This required agile shooting, rapid editing and close coordination with the events team to ensure key moments were captured and delivered on schedule, resulting in an engaging final highlights film alongside fully edited talks. 

The Outcome & Impact

The films provided JCB with a dynamic visual record of one of their flagship global launches, capturing both the technical innovation of the new product and the energy of the event. The films have since supported JCB’s marketing, communications and internal engagement.
