Sustainability

Mindful of our impact

Creativity and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.

We tell compelling and impactful stories that not only entertain and inspire, but also promote a sustainable future for generations to come.

We recognise the impact that the film industry can have on the environment and are committed to minimising our footprint through innovative and sustainable film production practices.

From the materials we use on set to how we dispose of waste, we strive to operate in the most environmentally conscious way possible.

Our sustainable video production process

The film production process can be resource-intensive and have a significant impact on the environment. We have taken a step back to rethink our approach and create a more sustainable video production process.

We track and report our carbon emissions to see how we can reduce the impact of each production. Where we can’t mitigate carbon we sequester in trees.

Using renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, to power our equipment and facilities makes a big difference in reducing our carbon footprint. Our London studio is powered by solar

One of the biggest contributors to a film’s carbon footprint is transportation. We use local talent, cast and crew and remote monitoring to reduce or remove the need for travel in the first place. Full disclosure, we still have more to do here. Where we cannot avoid travel, we currently still use a van most of the time due to range and space requirements, but as we update our fleet we are looking to switch to alternative modes of transport such as hybrid or electric vehicles.

Sustainable materials such as reusable water bottles, biodegradable catering supplies and eco-friendly building materials significantly reduce waste and environmental impact. And, of course, we also steer clear of single use materials and minimise waste.

With the advancement of production technology, we are now able to do many things without the need for physical materials. From digital storage through to green website hosting, it all helps reduce the impact of our productions.

But we don’t stop there.

We are proud to partner with Plant One, a Community Interest Company that brings business, individuals and landowners together to plant native trees in Cornish soil.

We plant trees for every film we produce.

By choosing to work with us, you can be confident that your project will be produced with integrity and a commitment to sustainability.
