FreeWing and Starboard wanted to empower newcomers and advancing riders alike with a clear, inspiring learning pathway. To bring that vision to life, we joined Olympic foil coach Sam Ross in Lanzarote to create a series that feels as dynamic and accessible as the sport itself.

Over a week of shooting on location, Lightbox Film Co. crafted a structured how-to series that breaks complex skills into clear, confidence-building steps. By combining unique camera angles and overlay graphics with clear voice-over instructions, the films give learners a front-row seat to Sam Ross’s proven coaching methods.
The FreeWing GO series became an instant hit, amassing more than 500K views and helping riders worldwide progress with confidence. It strengthens FreeWing’s position as a brand that truly supports its users at every stage of the journey.
